Luke Toye is a Canadian screenwriter and director. In 2017, he was selected by Norman Jewison's Canadian Film Centre to take part in their prestigious writers' lab program. Luke has written/directed multiple short films that have run at festivals across North America including the Italian Contemporary Film Festival, National Screen Institute Short Film Festival and the New Hampshire Film Festival. Currently, Luke is raising financing for his feature directorial debut, Stall Boy. Next, he will dive back into working on TIFF’s programming team for a third year where he will be screening feature and short films for the 2024 festival.
